Heading into December…

Ten-hut, Troops. A quick message from The Sarge…
First, I want to thank all of you who are podcasters or have open comm lines with other podcasters. I’ve been hearing that the Billibub Baddings teaser is making the rounds in the podosphere, and that is exactly what I’m wanting: talk, hype, and anticipation. For those of you running the teaser in your podcasts, this promo will be good until the first/second week of January until a new teaser (with subscription information) will be offered through this feed. Feel free to run the second teaser (and circulate it to other podcasters) until 2.14.07. Thank you all for your support! Let’s keep the hype machine running at full steam.
Now, there is a mini-Survival Guide coming soon, followed by a Christmas surprise. With this Christmas surprise, “re-gifting” is highly encouraged! When you all receive your SGWF Christmas Special, feel free to place the mp3 into your own podcast feeds or offer this episode to your favorite podcasters. (Please query the podcast first before sending them this episode, okay?) Let’s call this a “test sample” of what will be coming down the pike in 2007.
Also, I would love to know what was your favorite Survival Guide from the first season? I’m beginning to map out the 2007 shows and I was considering a “Survivalist’s Choice” show where I replay one of the Survival Guides from Season One, the show chosen by you. Cast your vote for your favorite Survival Guide: Season One episode in the Comments section for this post, give a reason or two why this one is your favorite (most informative, funniest, favorite WTF, etc.), and then stay subscribed to the SGWF feed for Season Two to hear what the troops voted as their favorite episode.
Finally, to one and all, thank you so much for your support in the first season and for your patience leading to the second. This has been a productive time for me (as you can see by the progress meters) and I am now beginning to feel the drive for producing Season Two. May you all enjoy a Merry Christmas and end 2006 on a happy, healthy, and hearty note. If you don’t celebrate Christmas, enjoy the Season and I will see you all in 2007!
That’ll do it for this quick status report from your fearless leader. Until the next post, you have your orders.
That is all.
