Noticed some sneaky Sarge has gone back and added extra snark to this post. All I can say is when putting this together I was under the gun somewhat to missed the final details of my own pimpage. I will do better next time....

Hi Cap! Great show.

Interesting perspective on things. As a Canadian I can understand the differences writers outside the US face. Of course the distance issue you have to deal with is the most extreme that exists.

But you are right - we North Americans do love that accent!

I don't want to hijack Pip's hijack of Tee but I will :P

It's good to hear Tee's back with season 2 of the podcast version of "Podcasting for Dummies". I did get a bit worried when I read the summary, though. I didn't recognise the name and I thought "oh no, where's Tee?" but it is good to hear Tee back with guests. I'm looking forward to more episodes of both Survival Guide & Podcasting for Dummies.

Now I want a H4 but I don't know if I need one! I'm having great fun with the mixer and Skype on my podcast.

Oooh Patrick- sorry, sorry... it has nothing to do with you killing me off in your excellent Murder at Avedon Hill honest! =) Can I blame end of yearitis?

Helen- thanks, glad to know that my blathering was of some use. Isolation can be felt anywhere in the world... but that's the beauty of technology. Yes the flight is a real killer, but such is the price I pay for living in New Zealand- and inflight entertainment has improved. Thanks for the feedback!

I loved this episode! Actually, I love all the episode of the Survival Guide, but this one is a good kick in the pants. I have nothing but respect for a writer who will fly all the way across the Pacific to promote herself and her work. I've made that flight myself, and it's a killer. Philippa Ballantine's comments were good advice not just for folks outside the US, but for anybody who's feeling a bit isolated, and as a stay-at-home writing mom, I found a lot I could relate to. Thanks Tee and Pip! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for listening Erk. Yeah the Sarge and I did a couple of on the road shows in my 06 and 07 visits, but we're planning more in 08. Trouble is getting a word in edgewise when the Sarge is about and if we Skype it I can't slap him upside the head to shut him up! =P But we will see what 08 has in store. (wonder if he will authorise this comment...)

Hello Sarge & Captain

I love what you both did with the podcast switcheroo and the bear Haka was so cool! It will be interesting to see what happens to both of your stats. I enjoyed the different points of view because the other person was doing the podcast but keeping true to the original format.

Now here's a question - are you planning to do an episode TOGETHER?
