This was a deeply moving tribute to a person I’m sorry I never knew. I would suggest a bit of an introduction at the beginning of the recording, to explain what this is and why it’s in the SGWF feed. Remember–every episode could be the first one a new subscriber listens to!

We’re all posting this on our feeds as-is, because we were asked not to add anything to it.
Anyway, yeah, I didn’t know Joe either, heard him a few times, but that’s it, still it is very touching, especially since I lost my own best friend to lung cancer.

I will consider my life well-lived if people speak half as highly and warmly of me as they did about Joe in this tribute. I never met him, have never even listened to archives of his podcasts, but I can tell that he was someone special. And you are all special friends of his to have produced such a touching tribute.
