Show #037: Marketing Your Shorts Off

You’ve heard The Sarge chat with James Patrick Kelly about the uphill battle of writing short stories in a novel publishing. I decided to revisit the challenges of marketing short stories with a writer that is blazing a trail of his own: Matt Wallace. With multiple Parsec Awards under his belt and an arsenal of short stories strapped across his chest like an action hero, Matt is now setting his sights on the print medium…

J.C. Hutchins

Matt is gearing up for his Spring/Summer release, The Next Fix. Along with the latest development of The Failed Cities Monologues and his first collection, Matt also challenges himself in other ways by taking a seat behind the Editor’s Desk.

Always good to hear another writer’s perspective.

My two cents on the difference between King and Barker. King always writes story through the eyes of his characters and not outside of them.

  2. ComputerKing Says:

Ah, the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot moment… I must admit, I was fished in.

Oh, Hutch, you are so cruel!
