G'day Tee

I'm loving the idea of SGWF Live. I'd like to learn how your setup was different for this episode compared to your regular episodes.

I don't know about you but I love the idea of interacting live with an auidence or other panelists. I find it is so much better than flying solo in a room.

While I'm here, I like the SGWF Rebooted episode idea. While it would not be suited for every podcast, it suits SGWF so well.

Hey, Sarge.

It was a ball being in the audience and given how nervous you were before this started, you looked like you were having a blast once you got going.

Dude, the room was more than packed, it was standing room only at the start and only got more crowded. Any more people and they might have made you move to the ballroom.

Good to see you again and I look forward to the next con (or podcast which ever comes first.)

Arkle,

I'm wondering if you're referring to the changes in volume during the Q & A session. I must admit that a couple of those transitions were...loud. However, I also think they were necessary. If you recall, Tee had said at the top of the show that he did not have an 'audience mic' so he would have had to bost the levels on his own mic at the front in order to get anything the audience had said. Frankly I find the volume differences preferable to not hearing the question.

All in all I have no complaints about the audio quality, save for these notes.

Tee, so...yer declaring war on the Podcast Author community ey? Arright you...I may not be on mark quite yet...but I'm back stage, rosining up my bow, and tuning up...You better be ready for me.

Huh...

I'd check the speakers of your computer or at least their connection to your computer. Not being snarky here but I listened to it with headphones and then open air speakers....sounded fine to me. Also this is the first comment that slams the audio quality of the episode.

Sorry it was not a good experience for you...maybe next time.

I couldn't finish listening to this episode. I really tried; I am really interested in the topics you had lined up for this show, but the sound quality for this was atrocious. I had my computer's speaker's turned all the way up but I could still only amke out half of what you were saying, and that half were the words that were suddenly at full volume (much to my chagrin as I was leaning in to the speakers). I hope you revisit these topics in the future.

Oh come now...tis merely a spirited jest. I'm the voice of your Shakespeare after all, and HOW MANY TIMES have you been on The Survival Guide? Heck, you actually PODJACKED it!

Come, come...twas merely a fun bit of comedy for the crowd, and from the listen of it, it was well received.

I believe I said that in jest Mr Morris. Would I ever be silly enough to suggest you are not in my league.. nevah. You got me into this whole thing, and I am always in awe of your skill. Any arguing I do, is always done with affection for someone who has shown me the way to do things right. I believe it would be called 'yanking your chain.' I enjoyed the energy of the show and it is obvious so did everyone present.
