Legacy of MOREVI: Book One Of The Arathellean Wars is an incredible new release from science fiction author Tee Morris. As the introduction to great series with an invaluably fun and interesting storyline, Legacy of Morevi is the tale of Naruim's warrior-queen Askana and Rafe Rafton as they attempt escape from the prospect of a coming war afflicting their realm. Highly recommended reading, Legacy of Morevi is sure to encourage the readers to continue their collection of Tee Morris science fiction and look eagerly toward the next title in this outstanding science fiction action/adventure series.

Legacy of MOREVI has excellent characterization, high adventure, superb wordbuilding, and twists and turns around every corner. This is another terrific adventure fantasy from the pen of Tee Morris. The Queen of the mystical land of Morevi finds her lands under attack from her one-time allies. What can she do? Seek the help of King Henry the VIII of England, of course.
Adventure, military strategy, political intrigue, and magic all combine for a great read.

Legacy of MOREVI is a spellbinding, stunning, and passionate journey through deadly court intrigues and desperate measures. When allies turn enemies, safety is a rare commodity. Tee Morris cleverly reveals the buried scars that never mend and menace the future. Askana and Rafe realize that their past will annihilate them if not stopped, but is it too late?
Legacy of MOREVI returns us to Naruihm as if we never left. Tee Morris sequel is as breathtakingly powerful as MOREVI. It is as if Lisa Lee and his voice continue through Tee. Bravo Tee on a spectacular sequel.

Tee Morris draws aside a curtain and ushers the reader back into the magical kingdom of Morevi that he and Lisa Lee first introduced in Morevi: The Chronicles of Rafe and Askana nearly three years ago. This time, Morris is flying solo, but it’s hard to tell – the story fits seamlessly onto the end of the last novel, and continues to dazzle and delight.
Morris has done a fine job of continuing the storyline of Morevi solo, and leads the reader on a merry chase through the pages, not taking a break until the final line. This, unlike many sequels, is worthy of its predecessor, and promises to make even more of an impression. This reviewer is looking forward to many, many more stories from Morevi, and from Morris.

| Tee Morris spawns more adventure, court intrigue, and some harsh "realities" within the lush landscape of Morevi, delivering a tale that will hit the reader much like a punch in the gut (in a good way)--it will leave you breathless!

As in the first book, the enchanting characters and spellbinding storytelling of Tee Morris compel the reader to keep turning pages. I enjoyed this sequel until the end of the book, for I was left hanging. This isn’t how I like stories to end, but that’s a personal preference. It’s okay not to tie up all the loose ends, but this story fails to resolve any conflicts introduced throughout the book. Still, Legacy of Morevi is a web of intrigue and wizardry spiced with love and hate that readers of swashbuckling fantasies will enjoy.

| Mr. Morris’s world building skills shine in this sequel to Morevi, The Chronicles of Rafe and Askana, which I have not had the pleasure to read. Nor did I need to as the talented balance in events from the first book was woven into this continuing story to create a rich tapestry of believability. The plot, language, and characters are fascinating and engaging, drawing this reader in. Fans of epic fantasy with historical detailing will find themselves transported to another world. I wish Mr. Morris continued success with the Morevi books.
Rating: 3 out of 5

Tee Morris has the gift of the storyteller and maybe just a bit of sorcery. For a few entertaining suspense filled hours, under his spell, Morevi, Arathelle, the Defiant, and the reign Henry VIII became my reality. I crossed the Rift of disbelief without feeling the ripple of suspension. The plot hums beneath the surface of rich characterization, dialogue, and action. The timeline straddles time and worlds, with the same balance Rafe strides the decks of a storm tossed ship. The magic tingles the spine and terrifies. The story pulled me into the very human emotional struggles of Rafe and Askana’s life, and yanked me into battles against inhuman creatures and magic.

Tee Morris pulls off this second installment well without Lisa Lee’s help, though I wasn’t at first convinced since I got a bit confused at the beginning of the book where Askana meets the new queen of elves who is also Askana’s first daughter now grown (took me four pages to figure which “she” was which). Guess there was some enchantment that grew the child to adulthood quickly, a fact that was not at first understood by this reader. But the swashbuckling action and light humor from the first book are found in this volume, so if you enjoyed CHRONICLES OF MOREVI, then I do recommend LEGACY OF MOREVI. The characterization and world-building are brilliantly done, guaranteed to hold any sword & sorcery fan captivated for hours.
