This is without a doubt, the best ep yet. I can’t say it was my favorite, the pain was too real and the voice talent made me relive pain I have unfortunately experienced first hand. BUT, therein is the artistry.
I love fantasy novels, pirates rock, and being a martial artist, I have to love ninjas, however, the reason this story means so much to me is the characterization and the interpersonal dynamic. If you haven’t learned to care for these characters by this point, you need to stop listening and spend your time doing something else.
To all of those involved, thank you. Best podcast novel ever.

Damn you Tee. I had to take a break to go to the bathroom and deal with the tears that were leaking out at Rafe and Askana’s.
Well done. Your writing, the production, the talents of your voice and your cast are exceptional and moving.

(blast, some of it got lost… meant to say “… at Rafe and Askana’s pain.”

**update – chapter 19 encouraged me to do something I never have done before. Namely, listen to an ep twice in the same day. After having done so, I have to recant a bit. Not only is chapter 19 the best ep yet, it is definitely my favorite as well.

Even though I recorded this stuff, I KNEW it, I still cried. You’re an evil, evil man Morris.

DAMN YOU!!!
Best episode ever. I just recently bought both of the books, and was hoping to wait until the end of the podcast to go back and reread Chronicles from the beginning.
I cannot wait, so I will now be forced to open the darn thing right now and get my fix.
Thanks for all you do Tee.

Wow — thanks, everyone for the comments on this episode. The fact that I was able to make the Kiwi cry…and she was THERE when we recorded this audio…brings me rather delicious, narcissistic twitch. *LOL*
Chapter Nineteen is very near and dear to me as this is the “emotional action scene” in MOREVI. I remember writing Askana’s walk through the Great Hall and vividly seeing/hearing it in my head as if it were a movie. It’s one of my favorite scenes, and to have guest voices this year contribute to it kicked it up a notch.
Please, keep the comments and reviews coming! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some audio to record.

That song, “Take her home, boys”… is it available anywhere?
Excellent episode, excellent series… I’m sad that it’s nearly over!

Thank you, Akin!
The song you’re referring to is “Minguelay Boat Song” and it appears on The Pyrates Royale’s Love at First Night. If you take a look here…

You’ll see that they are available online at a variety of places, including Kubi-Sogi’s favorite, CDBaby.com. I would recommend “House of Musical Traditions” as they are also “residents of Revel Grove” and great people to boot.
If you ever get a chance to see TPR live, do so. They are a riot, and they are as talented as they are funny.
Thanks again for listening.
