No, you are not seeing things…staying true to my word that I would not drop an epic-sized episode (unless it is a Listener Appreciation Show or something akin to that…), I am breaking up Chapter Two of MOREVI: Remastered into a three part episode.
Three parts?! What?! Am I insane?! How long is this chapter?! Will I drop in another sentence ending with an interrobang?!
The story as to why this chapter is so damn long will be revealed throughout the week, but just enjoy this week chock-full of new content and the guest voices of George Hrab and (making her debut as Askana Moldarin) Pip Ballantine.
More guest voices to come. Enjoy the ride, post a review on iTunes, us a favorite on Podcast Pickle, and make sure to get one friend turned on and subscribe to MOREVI!

Askana Moldarin, during her morning training session with Blademaster Kubi-Sogi, is given a sampling of Captain Rafe Rafton’s resourcefulness. The privateer’s first display is a slight against Askana’s religion while the next sets the Queen’s counter-intrigue into motion…
Part Two posting on Wednesday!

Overall, I like what I’m seeing. However, the main problem I have is that the podcast, especially the story, is very low. The opening/closing content volume is slightly low, but ok, but the story volume is significantly lower than that, forcing me to turn up the volume of my mp3 player or computer in order to here it.

I am enjoying listening to the story again, with the various new editions.
I have to admit though that I find Pip Ballantine’s portrayal of Askana slightly jarring. Her kiwi accent doesn’t really seem to fit the character. Then again, I may have run into the same issue with Leann if she had been able to continue in the role.
Are you going to attempt a consistency of accents with Morevi Remastered or will it depend almost entirely on who you can get to play what role?

I find your comment concerning Pip and her “jarring” accent fascinating…seeing as you’re in Australia. (Bit of the sibling rivalry there?) Thanks for listening, and I hope you continue to; but I think her accent is working very well for Askana — better than I could have wished for.
As far as the variety of accents, the accents of England around that time were thick and varied to begin with. What I am aiming for is a consistency in vocal quality which is the challenge as I’m working with material that is two years old and recorded in a very different studio.
Thank you for listening! I hope you continue to enjoy the ride.
