The threat of a cold and some non-uber-nemesis-like gushing over a silly kiwi is not going to stop me producing podcasts nor will it leave you on a really fun cliffhanger. So let’s see, I believe it was guns forward where we left the Defiant, right?
Better hold on to something…

My dear Captain that ending it was so…so Sigler and Hutchins like.
I would hunt you down but then i would get no more Morevi, no Legacy, no Baddings.
Without those things death would be at your door.

Definitely glad to see one of the other five people in the world who saw “Cutthroat Island” I, too enjoyed it greatly and don’t quite understand why it did so poorly. It pretty well killed the genre until Pirates of the Carribean was able to come along.
That was a fine twist this time and certainly a good place for a chapter break. I’ll be interested to hear how the chapter continues.

Speaking of Movie References, The whole “Dead Crew” trick, was that a reference to Burt Lancaster’s film, “The Crimson Pirate?” That was a Great way to start a film.

Yeah…and just like Captain Blood, I had not seen The Crimson Pirate before writing MOREVI. When I did, I saw that and thought “You’re kidding me.”
Granted, no chickens were harmed during the making of that film. ;^)
