(in order of appearance)

Tee Morris (writer and voice of Rafe Rafton, host)
Tee Morris began his writing career with his 2002 historical epic fantasy, MOREVI: The Chronicles of Rafe & Askana. Tee then appeared in Dragon Moon Press’ 2003 release, The Complete Guide to Writing Fantasy. 2004 saw the releases of Billibub Baddings and The Case of The Singing Sword and The Fantasy Writer’s Companion.
Tee entered 2005 with an idea, and that idea — podcasting MOREVI — went on to become the first book podcast in its entirety. That experience led to the founding of Podiobooks.com and collaborating with Evo Terra on Podcasting for Dummies. Along with that title and Legacy of MOREVI: Book One of the Arathellean Wars, Tee’s article “Dear John” was featured in BenBella Books’s Farscape Forever: Sex, Drugs, and Killer Muppets. In 2006, Tee appeared in the podcast anthology VOICES: New Media Fiction (edited by Mur Lafferty), and in BenBella Books’ So Say We All: Collected Thoughts and Opinions of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.
Tee continues to explore podcasting with The Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy, a podcast about the marketing and self-promotional concepts for published and soon-to-be-published authors. He also hosts the companion podcast for Podcasting for Dummies. 2008, along with MOREVI: Remastered, brought attention to the dwarf detective as The Case of the Singing Sword won a Parsec for Best Audio Drama and its sequel, The Case of the Pitcher’s Pendant: A Billibub Baddings Mystery, premiered in print.
Philippa Ballantine (Askana Moldarin, Lissellone)
Philippa Ballantine holds Tee Morris responsible for a lot of things: pointing her in the direction of her publisher, dragging her into podcasting, and getting her into bookshops for her first book signings. So it was a natural progression to supply her voice to Tee’s audio dramas.
Pip is an award nominated novelist and podcaster from Wellington, New Zealand. Her first novel Weaver’s Web which she turned into a podiobook, was followed by the Shakespearian fantasy Chasing the Bard. which went on to become a 2006 Sir Julius Vogel nominee. Its sequel, Digital Magic, will be available in 2008, the same year as she plans to podcast Chasing the Bard. Pip can also be heard on the 2007 Parsec Award nominated podcast Whispers at the Edge where she talks about living at the bottom of the world and passes on what she’s found out about writing.
She has also appeared as voice talent in Billibub Baddings and The Case of the Singing Sword, Metamor City and Murder at Avedon Hill. To Pip living at the bottom of the world is no excuse for not taking part.
Not content with this Pip is also writing three novels; a New Zealand fantasy, a gothic trilogy and a steampunk ghost story. In 2008 Pip will also be contributing to The Dragon Clan of Morevi podcast anthology.
More can be found out about Pip at The Pen and Sword online.
George Hrab (Kubi-Sogi)
George came on to the podcasting scene at Dragon*Con 2006 at a live recording of Michael and Evo’s Wingin’ It!, the acoustic concert he gave showcasing the ground he covers in his music. His smooth and sultry “Think for Yourself” sold itself as a terrific theme for the Billibub Baddings podcast, and now he’s making an impression as the wise Blademaster to Queen Askana.
George frequently steps outside his role as a drummer. He has released his fifth independent album titled “Interrobang”, once again writing and performing on guitar, bass, keys, vocals and drums. This award winning album was premiered and performed in its entirety by George’s ten-piece rock-fusion-funk-classical-jazz band, The Geologic Orchestra. His efforts have not only been noticed by the New York Songwriters’ Circle, where he successfully performed at their famed Bitter End showcase, but have also been recognized by various radio and television stations, including performances and interviews on NPR affiliate WDIY, WZZO, RCN-4, WLVR and on XM’s Slice of SciFi.
Christiana Ellis (Elunear, Jailene)
Christiana is an award-nominated writer and podcaster. In 2006, she released her humorous fantasy novel, Nina Kimberly the Merciless as a podcast audiobook, reaching an audience of thousands. Her podiobook was also a finalist for both a Parsec Award (Best Speculative Fiction, Long Form) and a Podcast Peer Award (Best Podiobook). As a direct result of podcasting her work, negotiations are now underway for a print edition of the novel.
Christiana is also the creator and host of numerous other podcasts, including Pickle Tales, a competition for audio storytelling, and Sci Fi Smackdown, where icons of science fiction are subjected to hypothetical battles.
Marni Penning (Yonella, Nadinath)
Marni Penning on Morevi: Remastered is a real treat for Tee…as the two of them studied Theatre together at James Madison University. This is the first time in over fifteen years that they have appeared together in a production, and Tee is taking full credit for introducing her talent to the podosphere.
Marnie is co-founder of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, for whom she has performed over 35 roles in 10 seasons, including Juliet, Kate, Rosalind, Beatrice, and Hamlet. She now resides in New York City, where she has appeared on Saturday Night Live (burning a Martha Stewart cookbook on live national television), in the hit series The Sopranos, and in Julia Roberts’ film Mona Lisa Smile. Marni was seen onstage most recently in the beat poetry rock musical Subway Train.
While appearing on both the large and small screen, Marni has performed steadily in theatres across the midwest and along the East Coast, and now she is making her debut in the podosphere. If you like what you hear in Morevi: Remastered, contact visit her website and query Marni for rates concerning voiceover and audio drama recordings.
John Cmar (King Henry VIII)
A supporter of MOREVI since its humble beginning at Balticon 36 in 2002 (yes, John it has been THAT long!), Dr. John Cmar (pronounced “Sssmar“) is a specialist in Infectious Diseases at Mt. Sinai/Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This means if you’re going to see John on account of an itch, he will probably be placing a direct call to Agent Dew Phillips.John (addressed in the podosphere best by crying out CMAAAARRRR!!! while going into convulsions ala Shatner in The Wrath of Khan) has been called “the sexiest voice in podcasting…who doesn’t have a podcast”. While Cmar has the gear and the pipes, he does not have a podcast (yet), but he has appeared on Murder at Avedon Hill and Variant Frequencies, chimed in on The ADD Cast and The Balticon Podcast, and lent his voice for a variety of promos and podcast intros.
When he is not listening to or participating in podcasts, Cmar like likes his scotch single malt, his beer cold and from the Dogfish Brewery, and his kittehs affectionate and high on the cuddle factor. You can get a peek into the mind of Dr. Cmar at Saint Nickanuck of the Tundra.
Soccergirl (Queen Kathryn Howard)
One of the pioneers (and innovative promoters) in podcasting , Soccergirl (a/k/a Anneke Rudegeair) has written, starred, and produced her popular audio and video podcast, Soccergirl, Incorporated, reaching an audience of up to 80,000 worldwide, building to a climax of Show #300 as her grand finale. Soccergirl, Incorporated features a wide mix of content from free thinking moxie to original fiction to original music to good old fashioned comedic improvisation.
Reaching beyond the podosphere, Soccergirl permiered her one-woman show, The Soccergirl Second, at The Brick Theater in New York City); and has her first book, a collection of short fiction and essays, coming soon from Podshow Press.
MA in PA (Aidyah, Baroness Karoline)
Who is MAinPa you ask? Well she was born in a small cottage in the Swiss Alps. It was there that she studied the fine art of podcasting under the Polynesian monks who perfected the fine art of the podcast in the early 17 century. MA has been podcasting since February of 2007. On her show, Better Late than Never, she talks about movies, television and anime with her friends and anybody else she can put in a choke hold and have them speak into the mike. Her voice can be heard on several other productions as well. These include Metamor City, Psuedopod, Murder at Avedon Hill, and Podcastle. She also had a small, unaccredited role in E.T. that was edited out due to violent content.
When MA is not podcasting, she’s baking up a storm, saving the rain forests and attempting to raise her son in proper geek fashion while surviving the wilds that is southeastern Pennsylvania suburbia. She also has been called a tree hugger and in her own way, she does what she can to save the planet, kinda like Captain Planet but not blue and she doesn’t have a spiffy ring either.
Anastacia Venette (Serena Rafton)
What makes this guest voice just that extra special is that Tee played Rafe opposite of Stacey’s Serena at The Maryland Renaissance Festival. Have a listen to Chapter Ten (Part Three) for the after-recording chat between them on their experiences then and how their street characters differ from the adventures across Tudor England the First Moldarin Dynasty.
Anastacia Venette has appeared in numerous stage and screen productions from coast-to-coast, some of her credentials including The Taming of the Shrew, The Three Musketeers, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Importance of Being Earnest, and the epic parody The Lord of the Ring. She also gave her support to MOREVI in 2000 when she voiced Askana Moldarin for the book’s proposal package. She now gives her strengths and talents to the Fellowship of Christian Filmmakers.
Amy Bowen (Priestess Messara)
Amy Bowen is a California native and recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is an aspiring science fiction author who has been an avid podcast listener since she started working at a library in January 2006. Her favorite hangout in the podosphere is Jack Mangan’s Deadpan Podcast where she regularly contributes segments to the podcast, including two excerpts from her novels in progress, a short story, and the contents of her fridge in Japan. Her fiction has also been featured on Pickle Tales, Podcast Pickle’s competition for audio storytelling.
Amy was the interview guest on episode 19 of the World Fantasy 2008 Podcast, in which she discussed winning National Novel Writing Month for the second time. She plans to have her 2007 NaNoWriMo novel, Bridging the Spheres, finished by the end of this year and preparing for launch on Podiobooks.com. She is thrilled and honored to make her debut as a special guest voice in MOREVI: Remastered.
Jessica Sharrow (Destroyer Priestess)
After spending over a year listening to podcasts of all kinds, Jessica failed to find one that covered her one true passion — NASCAR – so in 2007, with a friend, The Cup Car Update, a bi-weekly NASCAR news podcast, was launched. Jessica also currently has a part in Chris Lester’s Metamor City Podcast. She has also read a Story So Far for Scott Sigler’s Nocturnal.
Jessica is a Colorado Native, a wife, and mother to 2 active children.
Ian Shields (Mister Stewart)
A budding fantasy writer and video gamer, Ian Shields was only introduced to the medium of Podcasting in March of 2006. Although briefly involved in the community management side of several podcasts, it wasn’t until January 2007 that Ian finally released his first Podcast, TRSP (The Ranting Scotsman’s Podcast). However due to work commitments, TRSP has placed on indefinite hiatus (but seeks a return someday).
After attending DragonCon 2006, he braved another appearance at DragonCon in 2007 where Ian was a featured speaker in the first Podcasters United Nations panel. Ian is currently involved in a secret Podcasting Project concerning Second Life and associates from the podcast, Wingin’ It.
Ian is also striving to return to writing after being immersed in the world of Podiobooks, with Tee Morris among his favorite authors.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: While he only has one line in this podcast, Ian will be kicking ass later in Legacy of Morevi. Keep your ears at the ready!
Deborah Cole Micek (Setria)
What started as a quick Tweet exchange over your podcast’s first episode has developed into a new friendship and this podcasting personality’s acting debut in the podosphere. Seeing as this is Deborah Micek (also known as Coach Deb), her performance comes as no surprise to Tee.
Featured in the Wall Street Journal, columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine and Honolulu Star Bulletin, Radio Show guest for the TV Reality series, The Apprentice, and Life Coach for the award winning TV reality show, Dream Makeover: Hawaii, Coach Deb is a woman of many talents, living the ultimate business owner’s lifestyle: leveraging new media marketing to work with clients from 13 countries all from the most remote island chain in the world.

P.G. Holyfield (Taloss)
P.G. Holyfield had the pleasure of meeting Tee Morris at Morris*Con (otherwise known as Dragon*Con). While at D*C Tee showed P.G. the ropes of being an author at a convention (i.e. he let P.G. carry his backpack of books). P.G.’s fondest memory of Dragon*Con? — learning from Tee that there’s never a time when “I’ve got books for sale following this session…” isn’t the right thing to say.
P.G thanks Tee Morris for the opportunity to add his voice to the character of Franklin Rothchild—if only because because from this day forward P.G. will only refer to himself as “Mur Lafferty’s Daddy.”
P.G. Holyfield is the author of Murder at Avedon Hill—a fantasy podcast novel starting in February 2007. MaAH can be found at http://pgholyfield.com P.G. lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and family.
Chris Lester (Lennis)
Chris is a self-proclaimed “mad scientist in training.” He has been telling stories for about as long as he can remember, and credits a writing contest in elementary school for introducing him to his muse. Chris is the creator of Metamor City, a sci-fi/fantasy series where magic meets technology in a city of dark wonders.
Trained as a biologist at the University of California-Santa Cruz, Chris received his master’s degree in 2004 and promptly went out to try to start a career in the middle of the worst job market the American scientific community had seen in half a century. After three soul-sucking years in corporate America, he is now working as a science teacher at a charter school in Oakland, CA. When he isn’t writing or planning lessons, he enjoys role-playing games, playing piano and guitar, sketching and digital painting. He misses his family’s three Shiloh shepherds terribly.
You can find out more about Chris at his personal web space and in the world of Metamor City.

Scott Sigler (Rendiann)
Scott Sigler wrote his first monster story in the third grade and hasn’t stopped since. A creator of novels, short stories and screenplays, Scott’s work revolves around modern science’s dichotomy of simultaneously producing good and evil.
Scott reinvented book publishing when he released EarthCore as the world’s first “podcast-only” novel. Released in twenty weekly episodes, EarthCore harkened back to the days of serialized radio fiction and picked up 10,000 subscribers along the way.
His next podcast novel, Ancestor, drew 30,000 listeners and saw 700,000 episodes downloaded by fans. The Ancestor buzz caused Sirius Satellite to pick up the novel, making it the first audiobook serialized on the satellite network. Combined with Scott’s other two podcast novels, Infection and The Rookie, Scott’s fans have downloaded over 3 million files of his fiction. With the success of Infection (the published version of Infected) Scott continues his hostile takeover of the free world with Contagion, coming December 2008.
Scott’s innovative use of technology puts him at the forefront of modern-day publishing, and has garnered brand-name exposure among hundreds of thousands of fiction fans and technology buffs. He’s been covered in The Washington Post, Business Week, CNet, The Book Standard, MacWorld and the nationally syndicated radio show The Dragon Page.
Michigan-native Scott lives in San Francisco where he lives in his dark lair with minions who address him as the Future Dark Overlord…

Mae Breakall (Commander Remini)
Known by many names (Junkie Mae, Roller Derby Queen, Pinky, “Hey you!”), Mae Breakall is making her own transition from listener to podcaster with several bold steps into the podosphere. Along with MOREVI, Mae can also be heard providing her voice to P.G. Holyfield’s Fantasy-Mystery Murder at Avedon Hill, Seth Harwood’s nitty-gritty CrimeWAV, and the award-winning Buffy Between the Lines. Mae has also launched Junkie Mae’s Chop Shop, the first (and only) Scott Sigler-approved FanFic podcast, read by the RDQ herself (on the FDO’s orders, it seems). Submissions to The Chop Shop are open and can be sent to mae (at) junkiemaeschopshop (dot) com.

J.C. Hutchins (Commander Ion Geshalt)
J.C. Hutchins is a journalist, writer, and graphic designer, and has written for The Palm Beach Post, the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Lexington Herald-Leader (Ky.), and Wizard: The Comics Magazine.
Specializing in features and entertainment reporting, he has interviewed comic book industry icons such as Alan Moore, Will Eisner, Warren Ellis, Kevin Smith, Mark Waid and Neil Gaiman. During a 2001 controversy sparked by B.C., a popular American newspaper comic strip, one critic considered Hutchins’ feature on the topic “the single best piece of journalism generated by the controversy.” He left the journalism business in 2002 to write his 7th Son thriller novel trilogy, currently in release in free serialized audio form at JCHutchins.net and Podiobooks.com.
7th Son is the most popular “podiobook” series in history, ranking as the #1 most-popular program at PodcastPickle.com, and as a Top 20 podcast in iTunes’ Literature category. The novel has been featured in The New York Times, and on such popular blogs as BoingBoing.net, and St. Martins Press will be bringing it, along with the interactive thriller Personal Effects: Dark Art, to bookstores everywhere in 2009.
Hutchins lives in South Florida with his girlfriend, and their cat, Chester.

Paulette Jaxton (High Lady Radna)
Paulette Jaxton began her career as a software engineer at NASA during the early days of the shuttle program. After a lifetime love affair with fantasy and science fiction that began with the likes of Tolken and Heinlein, Ms. Jaxton now brings her own unique voice to the genre she loves. Having grown up on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, Paulette still calls Annapolis, Maryland home. She is the host of Form Letter Rejection Theatre, a podcast of her short fiction works featuring characters voiced by popular podcasters and bloggers.
Paulette is a world traveler, appreciates good beer and good wine, and blames Tee for dragging her kicking and screaming into podcasting.
Leann Mabry (originally cast as Askana Moldarin)
Before wrapping up her performance in Billibub Baddings and The Case of the Singing Sword, Leann agreed to take on the challenge of voicing The First Queen of Morevi, good news for fans from both Billi and Murder at Avedon Hill. First appearing in the podosphere though her irreverent show, Tag In the Seam, Leann now pursues her life-long dream: voiceover work.
Leann can be heard in episode 20 of Pseudopod, “What You Wish For”; the promos for podiobooks.com and Geeklabel.com; and has also done IVR work for the US office of Presence Technology, a Voice over IP software company based in Barcelona, Spain. Her hero is Billy West of Futurama fame which completely explains why she wishes to be a cartoon when…or if…she grows up.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Due to schedule conflicts, Leann was unable to continue as Askana after the first episode. It was still great hearing her as Askana, and hopefully things will clear up for her to allow us to work together again.
